Make it stand out.

This year, we had the privilege of working with the Boston Fire Cancer Foundation (BFCF) during PRoBono Night. It was an all-nighter filled with creativity, collaboration, and a lot of caffeine as we poured our hearts into creating a proposal to help BFCF grow its impact.

Our goal was to help them raise awareness about the occupational cancer risks firefighters face and strengthen their support for affected firefighters and their families. From branding ideas to social media strategies, we crafted a plan we’re truly proud of.

Boston Fire Cancer Foundation (BFCF)
is a nonprofit providing
services to firefighters and families
battling occupational cancer.
Their goal is to raise awareness of occupational
cancer in the fire service while also
eliminating the daily stressors
that come with a cancer diagnosis through
financial, physical, emotional, and medical support.
BFCF is looking for PRLab to help
 raise awareness
 of BFCF’s brand identity,
increase fundraising,
 and professionalize its
public image.

Webpage Review

  • Observations:

    • The home page is busy

    • Testimonials are vague and difficult to find on the site

    • The events tab is a bit crowded

    • Contact information is difficult to find on some tabs

  • Next steps:

    • Some tabs can be merged together, and some tabs (such as Donate and Services) need to be more emphasized

    • Add pictures to testimonials to make them more appealing

    • Cut events that happened a long time ago to highlight the most recent and significant events

    • Place contact information at the bottom of every tab so it is more easily located
